Our Story
Mountain View Minis was born from the land, the animals, and a quiet calling.
Horses have been part of Angie’s life for as long as she can remember. As a teenager, their steady presence became a refuge during a time when the world felt unsafe. Shaped by early experiences that left her disconnected from her body and longing for connection, she found something with horses that words could never offer — calm, acceptance, and a sense of being seen without expectation.
Years later, happily married and raising two incredible children, Angie was guided back to horses through her daughter.
From a young age, her daughter experienced the world in her own unique way — one that sometimes made everyday life feel harder than it should. While traditional therapies offered support, it was a very special horse named Toby who made the greatest difference. Through his quiet presence, patience, and unconditional acceptance, her daughter began to build confidence, coordination, and trust in herself — and she began to soar.
Animals offer companionship without judgment or bias.
They meet us right in our moment and love us for who we are.
What began as a deeply personal journey of comfort and connection slowly grew into a vision — a place where others could experience that same gentle support and grounding. A place where nervous systems can rest, guarded hearts can soften, and guests feel safe enough to simply be.
Mountain View Minis is not about fixing or changing anyone.
It is about creating space — space to breathe, to reconnect, and to feel held by the land and its animals.
We want to welcome you here.
Our Philosophy
Rooted in respect, presence, partnership and relationship
We respect our animals as sentient beings — aware, feeling individuals, never tools or props.
Their wellbeing, boundaries, and emotional safety always comes first.
Our animals are free to engage, rest, or step away, and guests are invited into shared presence rather than directed interaction.
